The TB-RD 01 Desert Truggy is Thorne Buckingham's go-to rig for rough, long distance runs. It features an A-arm suspension up front and a triangulated 4-link suspension in the rear, both with adjustable spring rates and ride height. This rig is built with billet aluminum chassis and connectors, and the intimidating Black-Cherry Lime livery, just like Thorne's Stadium Buggy.

The TB-RD 01 is designed to soak up big bumps while still being narrow enough to hit obstacles cleanly. While the other Racers prefer wider rigs, Thorne's precision driving ability lets him choose the perfect line, and the TB-RD 01 is the weapon of choice for drivers who like to thread the needle.

What's The Story?

As a child, Thorne Buckingham wanted more than anything to be a Freestyler. But his father forced him to become a Racer in the hopes that, one day, he could escape from Harley Dome via the Exit Loop.

Because of his early freestyle influence, Thorne's rigs often combine freestyle characteristics with a speed-oriented design.
